 The Evolution of Fortnite

 I assume you all have heard of the game called Fortnite. A game whom your kids love to play or even yourself. It’s been one of the most popular games in the world since release day of 2017. Fortnite is a battle royal game in a small map with 100 other players looting around the map trying to survive and eliminate all the rest of the players to get the victory royal. Till this day Fortnite still has approximately 30 million players online daily and over 250 million players online monthly. I’ve been playing Fortnite since release day so in this blog I will be giving you my full experience on the game and how I enjoyed or disliked and how it improved or worsen throughout the years. When I first downloaded Fortnite on september 26 2017 which was when the first season got released, I played it all day that day and got addicted. The first season was such a fun time because of this new concept of a open world map with a storm that made the map smaller and smaller and slowly took health away if you were caught up in it. Also, every week Fortnite came out with new content like new guns, supply drops, new places to discover so the game wouldn't get boring. It would always be so exiting to see what was new in the game and sometimes me and my friends would either stay up late or wake up early to see the update. To add on, you could get xp while you play to level up and unlock items to use while you play. There was also a item shop where you could buy skins or dances with in-game currency you could either buy it or earn by leveling up. In season 2 Fortnite came out with a battle pass that everyone was crazy about. You could purchase it with in game currency and receive loads of items like skins, dances or emotes.

    Early Fortnite. That was personally my favorite gaming experience ever. I have played video games for more than a decade now, and to this day the beginning of Fortnite had to be the period where I had the most fun. Being one of the last ten people on the map was the most exciting thing. Especially since everyone was so bad, you just never knew how the game was going to end.

  Around this mid of chapter 2 the game started to not become interesting which caused me to stop playing for a little while. Fortnite added NPCs that could shoot you if you go near them, and if you kill them you get their gun and ammo. But the problem was that the NPCs were overpowered and could eliminate you in seconds. Some players didn't have a problem with them since they were good but, in my opinion, I think they shouldn't of been in the game in the first place. A lot of newbie players have to avoid a lot of the landing spots since most of the popular ones with most the good loot all had NPCs that were broken. Once it became late into the game, the newbies that landed in bad spots who are still alive have a disadvantage since they have bad loot compared to the other players. Evolution of Fortnite pt2

  Around a year later after release day season 4 of Fortnite came out. In my opinion season 4 was one of the best seasons in Fortnite. The reason it was the best season because there was multiple cool events that happened during the season. The coolest one in my opinion was when a big meteor blew up a massive crater in the dead center of the map. During the season grass and trees would regrow inside and outside the crater. But that wasn’t just what happened during that time. A big rocket ship was being built all season 4 it would progressively get bigger and bigger throughout the season like the crater. This was so fun since we got to experience 2 live events progressively evolve. To add on, 60 days into the season the rocket got launched. Nobody knew what the rocket was supposed to hit, so when the it launched nobody new what was going on.
