Evolution of Fortnite

  Around this mid of chapter 2 the game started to not become interesting which caused me to stop playing for a little while. Fortnite added NPCs that could shoot you if you go near them, and if you kill them you get their gun and ammo. But the problem was that the NPCs were overpowered and could eliminate you in seconds. Some players didn't have a problem with them since they were good but, in my opinion, I think they shouldn't of been in the game in the first place. A lot of newbie players have to avoid a lot of the landing spots since most of the popular ones with most the good loot all had NPCs that were broken. Once it became late into the game, the newbies that landed in bad spots who are still alive have a disadvantage since they have bad loot compared to the other players. This causes a lot of unbalanced fights and its not fun for either one of the players. In season 9 and 10 the whole fortnite community was tired of the previous map that we've been playing for so when season 9 launched the added a bunch of new places to land and rework other places and nobody liked it. This was probably one of the worst updates ever in fortnite. A lot of players stop playing including me during this time of Fortnite. For example, the new guns were super annoying and unbalanced which is very irritating when someone has a gun triple the firepower as yours. Also, they added these weird slip stream rings across the map. This was also one of the most annoying things added because once you would lower someone health they would use the slip streams and fly away super easily and you would lose the because of it. Not only that but you could join into others players fights and get a jump on them when their focused on their own target. When this happens its so infuriating and makes you want to get off the game. In season 5,6,7 and 8 were all equally the same. A lot happened in each of them but nothing really special to make them all separate. But, season 5 was one of the most game changing seasons because of Fortnite released this game mode called Playground. Playground was a attempt to be a sandbox mode, allowing players to have fun with there friends and mess around the map. But, some players took advantage of the sandbox mode and practice either there aim or their build mechanics to get better. And so the skill level of the game became better and better throughout these seasons. Then in season 7, Fortnite released another game mode called Arena. Arena is a competitively ranked game mode which is a little different then regular battle royal. In arena you can’t hold as many materials to build about 50% less, and plus there’s a point system where you can gain points by either getting eliminations or staying alive for longer.   Around a year later after release day season 4 of Fortnite came out. In my opinion season 4 was one of the best seasons in Fortnite. The reason it was the best season because there was multiple cool events that happened during the season. The coolest one in my opinion was when a big meteor blew up a massive crater in the dead center of the map. During the season grass and trees would regrow inside and outside the crater. But that wasn’t just what happened during that time. A big rocket ship was being built all season 4 it would progressively get bigger and bigger throughout the season like the crater. This was so fun since we got to experience 2 live events progressively evolve. To add on, 60 days into the season the rocket got launched. Nobody knew what the rocket was supposed to hit, so when the it launched nobody new what was going on.
